The Brahmasthan is a silent core at the exact center of the home which supports and nourishes all the activities of the house. A table is generally placed over the Brahmasthan so that the silence is not disturbed by any activity. The Brahmasthan is also bathed by a three-way intersection of light that passes from east to west, from south to north, and from above.
